its time to fight
to mobilize
to work towards
something more
than all the times
we settled our
differences
with stupid wars
freedom rings
from wall to wall
resounding in
canyons deep
and mountains tall
but it is not
the thrill of being
on the right
side of the gun
its in being free
to be young
free to have fun
free to love
we march surely
together
arm in arm
but when we’re alone
in rough weather
there’s potential for harm
and no one wants to
risk the fall
still its hard to
ignore the call
as freedom rings
from wall to wall
don’t you think
it’s time to fight
for what is real
for what is right
